2. Information we collect

  • Information you give us: your email address and product idea when you use the brand name generator, your name, email, and message when you submit the Work With Us form, and anything you type into the Launch Desk assistant.

We collect your email address whenever you sign up for a lead magnet, register for a webinar, submit a form on brandfounderacademy.com, respond to an ad (including Google and LinkedIn), or join our community on Skool. Regardless of which channel you use to provide your email address, you consent to receive marketing communications from us, including emails sent through our email service provider (Kit, Inc.) and emails sent through Skool. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us directly. Skool has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data on its platform, which you can review at skool.com.

3. How we use it

We use your information to deliver what you asked for (e.g. sending brand-name results), to respond to inquiries, to send marketing and occasional emails about the Academy (you can unsubscribe any time), and to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Third-party services

  • Skool: the Academy community, courses, and any payments run on Skool, a third-party platform with its own privacy policy and terms. We never see or store your payment card details.
  • Email service provider: Kit, Inc. (formerly ConvertKit) stores and sends our email list.
  • Hosting: this site is hosted on Vercel.

5. Data retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. Email list data is kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion; inquiry data is kept as long as needed to handle the inquiry; and financial or transactional records are kept as required for tax and accounting purposes (generally up to 7 years). When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
